KITE Piloting Seminar in Germany
In September 2007 a piloting seminar was held in Erlangen, Germany to test
and valorize the Europass-CV plugin developed by the KITE project.
In September 2007 a piloting seminar was held in Erlangen, Germany to test and valorize the Europass-CV plugin developed by the KITE project. 15 people, among them some researchers, staff and students from University of Erlangen-Nuremberg joined the event. Altogether 35 people subscribed for individual online-testing of the plugin. At the beginning of the seminar the aims, methods and results of the KITE project in general were presented. Then, the Dotclear Blog system was introduced to the participants and scenarios for individual and group application in work context were discussed. Subsequently as the core part of the seminar the KITE CV plugin was presented. It was shown how participants can create, manage and export their own Online-CV using the KITE plugin. In the end a discussion round followed where participants provided interesting feedback for the further development of the KITE plugin. Additionally, all participants were asked to fill the online evaluation questionnaire. This seminar is part of a round of equivalent piloting event in several European countries in the course of the KITE project.
