Participate in the European Workers’ Mobility Award 2006

If you are an individual, or you belong to a company, or are member of an association, organisation or institution and have developed a project or an idea that can contribute to enhance workers' mobility in 2006 - showing the real benefits and challenges of working abroad or changing job, you can take part in the European Workers’ Mobility Award.

As part of the European Year of Workers’ Mobility, the European Commission has decided to launch the European Workers’ Mobility Award. Up to three awards will be given in each of the following three categories:

  • Public or private organisation, institution, association
  • Private company (big, medium or small)
  • Individual
The award is open to candidates from the 25 EU Member States, Acceding Countries, Candidate Countries and EFTA Countries. Winners will receive
their prize at an Award Ceremony taking place in Roubaix, France, on 11 December 2006.

Applications may be submitted either directly (for example by a project) or by a third party. They can be made in any official EU language, but should
include an informative summary or extract in English, French or German.

The closing date for entries is 15 October 2006.
